1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AjeboMall ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including customers, tailors, and visitors.
2. Platform Description
AjeboMall is a digital marketplace connecting customers with professional tailors across Nigeria. We facilitate custom clothing orders but are not ourselves a tailoring service. Contracts for tailoring services are between customers and tailors directly.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
4. Customer Obligations
Customers agree to: provide accurate measurements and delivery information, make timely payments, communicate respectfully with tailors, and confirm delivery honestly. False delivery confirmations or fraudulent disputes are grounds for account termination.
5. Tailor Obligations
Tailors agree to: provide accurate shop information and fabric availability, fulfill accepted orders to the agreed standard, communicate proactively about delays, and maintain professional conduct. Tailors are independent contractors, not employees of AjeboMall.
6. Payment & Escrow
Customer payments are held in escrow by AjeboMall via Paystack until the customer confirms delivery. Platform commission (currently 10%) is deducted before tailor payouts. Payouts are initiated only after delivery confirmation. Disputed payments are held pending resolution.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes must be raised within 7 days of order completion. AjeboMall will review evidence from both parties and make a final decision on payment release or refund. Our decision is binding. Fraudulent dispute claims will result in account suspension.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not: conduct transactions outside the platform to avoid fees, post fake products or reviews, harass other users, upload misleading product images, or attempt to hack or disrupt the platform. Violations result in immediate account termination.
9. Intellectual Property
Tailors retain ownership of their design portfolio images. By uploading content to the platform, you grant AjeboMall a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform and in marketing materials.
10. Limitation of Liability
AjeboMall is not liable for: the quality of tailoring services, delays caused by tailors, fabric quality sourced by tailors, or losses arising from platform downtime. Our maximum liability to any user is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or harm other users. Users may close their accounts at any time by contacting support@ajebomall.ng.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts with jurisdiction in Abuja, FCT.
